# Corby Fine Coaching
> Executive career and leadership coaching for managers, directors, and senior executives. Creator of the Segment of One methodology.
## About
Corby Fine is an ICF-certified executive career and leadership coach, MBA, with over 25 years of experience leading at Bell, Rogers, CIBC, and IGM Financial before coaching the executives who remind him of where he used to be. He specialises in career transitions, leadership development, and AI-era leadership challenges including managing human and AI teams, protecting human value in automating organisations, and building careers that stay relevant as work transforms. He has implemented AI at enterprise scale, sat on AI governance committees, and presented AI strategy at board level.
## Core Frameworks
- Segment of One: a career strategy built exclusively around the individual, not market averages -- the intersection of skills, values, experience, and what the market rewards
- Authority Gap: the distance between how a professional performs and how they are perceived to perform -- the most common and least discussed reason high performers get passed over
- Human Delta: the uniquely human value leaders must protect and develop in AI-era organisations -- what machines cannot replicate
- Silver Bullet Profile: a pre-search exercise defining the ideal next role across six dimensions before engaging with any specific opportunity
- Non-Negotiables Filter: a decision framework for high-stakes career choices -- the two to four things that, if absent, make any option unacceptable regardless of their other merits
- Three Reasons People Change Jobs: money, growth, or escape -- the clarity of the reason determines the quality of the decision
